Be curious.

“Be curious . . .
Curiosity will keep you focused on the frontiers of your ignorance. That’s where we learn.”
I Read the above in a devotional and it resonated deeply. We’re all a little ignorant sometimes. This year has showed me the importance of maintaining a healthy suspicion. First of myself, then of others. For such trying times I find so many people puffed up on their own ideals. It forces me to constantly check myself, what am I tempted to justify? It also nurtures in me a deep appreciation for those of you in the room with the awareness and understanding that you don’t have it all figured out. You who Instead of speaking dogmatically, ask reflective questions because you seek to understand. I see you, I notice you. I trust your convictions even if they differ from my own because I know you’ve thought them through with empathy and intentionality. You have my ear. Fresh air, fresh air is what you feel like and I’m grateful. Thanks for thinking. You’re teaching the rest of us.
